About Us

The Michigan Democratic Jewish Caucus (MDJC) is the voice of Jewish Michiganders in the Democratic Party, dedicated to combating antisemitism and electing Democrats who share our values. In addition to supporting candidates through state and federal PACs, MDJC works to strengthen the link between Michigan’s Jews and Democrats through strong communications and public forums and political dialogues to increase Jewish representation in Michigan politics, and to advocate for liberal and progressive policies that benefit all Michiganders.

History & Recent Actions

State Representative Noah Arbit founded the Michigan Democratic Jewish Caucus in March of 2019 to provide a platform for Jewish Democrats in Michigan to organize politically and make their voices heard in this critical swing state. In 2020, the Michigan Democratic Party granted a formal charter to the Michigan Democratic Jewish Caucus,.


Recent activities include: Annual Summer Simcha, Jewish Outreach with Harris Walz, Voter mobilizations with JDCA, and Unpacking the Jewish Vote with Jim Gerstein
