WEST BLOOMFIELD, Michigan — The Executive Board of the Michigan Democratic Jewish Caucus applauds Senator Gary Peters (D-Bloomfield Township) for joining the U.S. Senate Bipartisan Task Force for Combating Antisemitism as a founding member.
As we continue to grapple with rapidly rising antisemitism – including violent antisemitism – across the United States, Senator Peters’ membership of this vital and timely task force ensures Jewish Michiganders will have a strong voice in the conversation.
Noah Arbit, founder and chair of the Michigan Democratic Jewish Caucus, added, “The establishment of the Senate’s antisemitism task force is incredibly important, and I am thrilled to see Senator Peters continuing his long-standing record championing the issues and concerns of Michigan Jews.
